Founders of SJD Homes have over 30 year’s collective expertise working with children, young people; and families.  The Company directors have a passion for supporting the younger generation with problems they face to achieve better outcomes.

Company Directors recognised that young people’s adverse childhood can sometimes have a negative impact on how they see the world and their opportunities in life.  They decided that they had to create a service that thrived positive outcomes for vulnerable children, who require a home and strong support system as a foundation for them to achieve their goals and aspirations in life.

The vision for SJD Homes is to transform communities so that all children and young people can belong, contribute, and thrive, which flows from our religious beliefs and ethos.

We take pride in the outcomes we achieve, through working with the young people and their families as well as the staff team, local agencies, and other professionals working in partnership to enable young people to reach their goals. We support our young people to have confidence in their abilities, to be ambitious about their future, to set realistic Specific, Measurable, Achievable,
Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals.

All our staff members are highly qualified and specially trained to cater to the high-end needs of the young people, focusing on early intervention and preventative and positive risk management. The outcomes of the young people’s progress are based on the ‘Every Child Matters’.
